Is it possible to treat Plantar Warts with an oral medication?

Plantar wart
Plantar wart

There is no medicine that can eliminate a plantar wart because it is a viral infection. Viruses are usually left to run their course. Similar to a cold, you do not treat the virus directly; rather, you treat the symptoms.

Some people believe that taking oral cimetidine, often known as Tagamet, a heartburn drug, can help them get rid of warts. Although there is some progress in children, it is not widely used as a primary treatment. Instead, it is only utilized if there is a widespread wart infection while other treatments are being used as well.

If you want to remove your wart completely and effectively, contact the Ejodamen Shobowale, DPM of DeNiel Foot and Ankle Center.
