Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

DeNiel Foot & Ankle Center (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at
denielfootandanklecenter.com. This policy explains what information the website
collects, why, and what choices you have.

This policy covers the website only. Health information held
in your medical record is governed separately by federal law (HIPAA) and by our
Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first visit and can
request from the office at any time. Please do not send detailed medical
information through this website, by email, or through a contact form —
those channels are not encrypted end to end. Call the office instead.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a contact or
appointment-request form, or call a number listed on this site, we may collect
your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about
why you are getting in touch.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we
record technical details of your visit: IP address, browser and device type,
pages viewed, how long you stayed, and the site or advertisement that referred
you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and schedule appointments
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website
  • To measure how our advertising performs and to reach people who may need a
    podiatrist
  • To meet legal and record-keeping obligations

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used,
Google Ads to advertise the practice and measure which ads lead
to appointment requests and calls, and Google Tag Manager to
load those tools. These are the only third-party tracking tools on this site. These services set cookies and may
receive your IP address and browsing activity on this site. Google’s handling of
that data is described at

policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
.

Our advertising is targeted by location and by the words people search for.
It is not targeted using your medical history, and Google’s own policies
prohibit advertisers from building ad audiences around sensitive health
information.

You can turn off personalised advertising at
myadcenter.google.com,
and opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s
browser add-on.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site
working correctly and for the analytics and advertising described above. Every
major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them
may stop parts of the site from working.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only
with service providers who help us run the practice and this website — our
website host, our scheduling and communication systems, and the analytics and
advertising services named above — and only as needed to provide those
services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to
protect the rights and safety of our patients and staff.

Security and retention

The website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and we take reasonable
measures to protect the information we hold. No website or method of
transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep website enquiry information only as long as we need it for the purpose
it was collected or as the law requires.

Your choices

  • Ask us what website information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it
  • Ask to stop receiving messages from us at any time
  • Control cookies through your browser, and personalised ads through the links
    above

For requests about your medical record rather than the website,
contact the office directly — those rights are described in our Notice of
Privacy Practices.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect information from them through it. We do treat paediatric patients; that
care is documented in the medical record, not through this website. If you
believe a child has submitted information here, contact us and we will remove
it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change is posted on this
page with a revised date at the top.
